Let's see....we rented a reception hall at The Dragon (Yong Goong), a chinese resturant in the heart of KoreaTown. We had balloons in the theme of marine life (more like fish) which stands for always moving forward, that filled the entire room. In order to match the theme, I picked out a cake with Nemo from New York Bakery. Brendon had his royal gown on (and i must say he is definatly a prince!). We had 3 trays of korean rice cake, and all the fruit decorations for Brendon's table.....and of course all the items for him to choose. My friend Vivian came up with a raffle contest and made a billboard where you are to submit what you think Brendon would choose first. We also had 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes that we gave away to the winners. On Brendon's table was:
1. A spool of thread - meaning long life
2. A basketball - become a famouse athlete
3. A bowl of rice - Become a wealthy generous person and share your wealth with the poor
4. A pencil - Become a very smart and well edcuated person
5. A bowl of noodles - not sure who put it there or what it means....but Brendon enjoyed playing with it!
We had a cute little slide show that daddy and i put together.....but most important, we had a room full of guests who loved our little Brendon and wanted to celebrate his first birthday! Just thinking of all our friends and family that filled that room brings tears to my eyes....all the money in the world couldnt humble me more! I am so grateful for all the friends, family, smiles, and the love!
We do have a few days before Brendon actually turns 1....being he was born on 2-8. I have an appt at the photo studio that day to take some more pics! I am also planning on taking his hand and foot prints on framing them. It never occured to me to do that when he was first born.......but him being an active 1 year old, im sure we'll have a blast!
Thank you to all those who came, and for those who couldn't make it.....you were there in spirit!

I can't believe it's over......his party turned out so good.....if i had to do it all over again, i wouldn't change a thing! We love you Brendon....and happy 1st birthday!
