*Brendon 10 Months Old Today*

Well....today is Dec 8th, which means Brendon is another month older. He 10 months old today! He just keeps getting bigger and bigger.....I can't believe how fast they grow! I just wanted to post a quick post and picture.....I have to get back to decorating the tree and wrapping presents.....the Lee family is actually getting into the holiday spirit this year!

On Saturday we took a trip up to norcal to visit my in-laws. It was their first time seeing baby Brendon, and boy did they love him! Jhonnie has a big family, so we had to visit all of Jhonnie's aunts and uncles.....whom all loved Brendon too! I think Brendon was a bit confused with all the loudness and all the faces....but after awhile he got used to it, and even started making preferences when it came to who he wanted to be held by. It was long drive...7 hours both ways.....we had to make several stops for Brendon's sake. We got in late last night, and mommy and daddy are pretty exhausted! Brendon has been a bit fussy too..... anyhow, here are some pics we took with the family:

Mommy's Prince Charming

I just recently found this picture of Brendon in my camera. I forgot that I had taken some pics when we were up in fresno doing the final clean up for the close of escrow on our house. Here are some pics of Brendon and Jordan, Jordan is my friend Jeanie's 1 yr old son. I realized how big Brendon actually is when I saw these pics. He's the same size as Jordan!

*9 Months Old*

These were the only 2 decent pictures....I swear it's the hardest thing taking these pics of him....and as a biast mother I just have to say that the camera just doesnt do him justice......He's SOOOOOO much more handsom in persson!








I REALLY cannot believe that our lil Brendon has actually turned 9 months old today! I mean I know it's just another month and all....but still. I feel like 9 months old is like the turning point of babyhood or something. Anyhow, let's see what our Brendon has accomplished:

*he can wave "bye-bye" on command
*he knows 1 2 & 3 (he LOVES 3 for some odd reason)
*he eats any and all food.....he's a big time food lover (I can't wait to have food coma together)
*he lifts his arms up when he wants to be held
*he loves hearing the word "kka kka" (cause he knows he's getting a snack)
*he laughs uncontrollably at Simba our dog (and Simba is sooo good and patient with him)
*he loves spending man time with daddy
*he's babbling more and more and trying to mimmick what he hears
*he loves when mommy sings to him....not just lullabys, but hit songs
*he roams the house like an army man.....just trying to catch up is a work out!
*he loves banging on his high chair....and loves to drop his bowl and watch mommy pick it up
*he smiles ALL the time, and he lures people with his eyes and charm
*he's the happiest baby ever!

Oh My Gaw......I'm such a bad mommy! I was so excited seeing my friends pictures of their baby's 1st halloween, I realized that I didn't get a costume for Brendon. After work, daddy and I went to Target and Walmart to see if we could get a costume...but no luck!

It's just been such a crazy month with our house being in Escrow, car problems, running the shop, and trying to run a household......I just didn't have time to get my Brendon a costume for his 1st holloween. I hope Brendon forgives me, but more so I hope I can forgive myself!

To make up for it, we took Brendon to his favorite food place......none other that the ghetto fabulous hometown Buffett! Brendon loves the food there. He LOVES their green beans, and their vegetable soup. Little does he know I water it down with tons of water! But still he pigged out. Daddy and I don't do american food much but since Brendon loves it we were happy!

Keeping Track

Sorry, it's been awhile. The Lee family has been pretty busy the past few weeks. We had Grandma from Vegas visit, then we had to go to Fresno to clean and pack up the rest of our stuff since our house is in Escrow (still hasn't closed, GRRRR), then Larry came to visit......and then Brendon had his first plane ride to Vegas. I have a few pictures that I will post when I get a chance......and i'll have more details with that post!

So we dropped gramma off at the station yesterday.....it's always sad when we say goodbye. I loved, I mean absolutely LOVED having here here for the week! Not only did I need and appreciate her help, but it melt my heart seeing how much she loves my son!

Brendon spend the entire week at home with gramma, eating all day, playing, singinig, laughing and napping with grams! He was loving every moment of it! Brendon even slept with gramma at night.....which gave mommy and daddy alot of neede quality time (I won't get into that though :)

My mom said she just can't get over how perfect Brendon is, and how good looking (just another relative who happens to be biast). My mom is actually speeding things up, and has decided to move out here by the end of this year.....
that like less than 3 months!

I guess gramma wasn't that sad when it was time to go because Brendon and I are going out to Vegas in 2 weeks to see her again! It'a going to be our first plane trip.....I'm hoping it won't be that bad.....Im more worried about the challenge I'll have with the stroller and car seat.

We all miss grandma!!!!

Brendon 8 Months Old

I can't believe Brendon is 8 months old....Didn't he just turn 7 months old yesterday? At this rate he'll be 18 next month! Let's see....what new things has Brendon learned and discovered......

1. He says *umma* (mommy in korean)

2. He says *dada* (i still think it's baby rambling, but *dada* is convinced he's saying it knowingly)

3. He raises his arms when we reach for him

4. He says *mamma* (food in korean baby talk) when he's hungry or sees someone eating

5. He's eating grown up food, his favorite is *soon doo boo jigae* (soft tofu caserole unspiced)

6. He has discovered what makes him a boy as i was changing his diaper not too long ago

7. Drinking out of his sippy cup like a pro

8. Growing out of his infant car seat

9. He's sitting up all on his own now

10. Starting to grab things to pull himself up (that one's gonna keep me on my toes!)

I guess to most people this doesnt sound like a whole lot, but as a proud mama, it's amazing! I feel like I'm forgetting some.....but im sure i'll end up posting them at a later time. He will always make me proud, and he will forever be the love of my life!

oh yeah....and he weighs a wopping 20 pounds! He's almost gonna be 1 years old....I can't believe how fast he's grown and how fast he continues to grow! He still melts my heart

* I Miss him*

Ok....today is the first time ever that Brendon and I have been apart....since he was born! I mean the first time ever that we've been apart for a whole day! I miss him and I can't stop thining about him! I'm calling my mom every hour just to check on them and to hear his voice!

This is our morning routine.....Brendon is the first to be ready in the mornings. As I run around the house like a mad woman...Brendon just kicks back and watches his PBS programs or sometimes I'll pop in *bbo bbo bbo* (that korean program for kids). I love how cumffy and cozy he looks!



And my most favorite is how we end our day! With a nice warm bath :) Brendon *hearts* his baths! And look how cute he is! I still can't believe he's mine!!!!

End/Beginning of another month

September just swept on by without a trace! I can't believe yet another month has gone by. Where does the time go? Anyhow....the same story with me. I just barely finished uploading pictures of Brendon for the month of September. As I was going through the pictures....I realized how handsome my Brendon is...... I'm his mommy so I can boast all I want :)


In the month of September...alot of changes took place. Brendon and I are no longer staying home all day like we've been doing all these months. Instead we are going to work with daddy at the shop. Brendon behaves so well....my heart aches that I have to take him out there in that environment....but I don't have a choice. The though of him being at some daycare freaks me out...... I make sure he has all his favorite toys in the play pen with him...and his exersaucer keeps him entertained.....and is also useful when it's time to eat or watch baby einstien.

Brendon also made a new friend! This new friend is helping Brendon practice his sitting up. He was really into the leap frog toy....but now that it's been a few weeks....i think he's kinda sick of it :)

Brendon finally fit into some outfits he got back on his 100th day bash....and he fits into all of them so handsomly!!!

*Yay For Grandma*

I'm sooooo glad my mom's comming to visit again. This time she's staying for a whole week! That means I don't have to bring my poor lil man to work with me for the whole week! I just hope my mom can handle watching a baby for the whole day....eh, but Brendon's such a good baby the both of them should be fine!

So...Brendon is eating solids now....well actually he's been eating the gerber baby foods for a couple of months....but im talking solids.....*bab and gook ~ rice and soup* and steak and fruit. He LOVES to eat....I've never seen a baby who can eat anything and everything this early.....and digest it!

Brendon has finally started taking the bottle. 7 months of buying all the bottles that are on the market...and he finally is taking the bottle. He's doing well with his sippy cup too....I'm just trying to wean him off the breast. I'm having a hard time deciding on this, since I have a good supply.....we'll see how it goes.

I've been meaning to take Brendon for some professional pictures, but just cannot seem to find the time. His face is changing yet again so I want to hurry and capture this moment. I'm hoping to get it done while Grandma's over.

Ok, well that's all for now...just wanted to post a lil sum sum :)

Brendon's 1st word

yeah right.....daddy likes to think so. Brendon has been saying *da da* and my husband swears that it's Brendon's 1st word......little does he know that ALL (most) baby's say da da. I guess I'll just play along and let Daddy have this moment.....cause we all know that Brendon's first word was *umm* (the beginning of umma).

Brendon's starting to drool again...I think he's getting some more teeth, and his sitting up is getting sturdier. I am however having this issue with his hair. We did the Korean traditional thing and shaved his head after his 100 days (baek il).....but it grew back all uneven....i don't want to shave it again, guess I'll just have to play that one by ear. I don't know if I'm not feeding him enough because he's still waking up in the middle of the night. So we're back to having him sleep with us. I know some people are against the co-sleeping, but Brendon loves is and it seems to work for us.....so for now it'll have to do :)

OMG Fingers Crossed Please

Just a real quick post! We just got an offer for our house in Fresno! We're not getting the amount that we listed it for, but still getting way more than we were expecting! It's not a done deal yet, and we're not quite in escrow....so please please say a prayer for us or keep your fingers crossed or whatever you do to help make things work out!

Oh yeah, I'm sick too now! I feel awful, but better than yesterday!

*Brendon's 1st Cold*

I feel like I've failed my son as a mother! Brendon has his 1st cold, and I can't do anything to make him feel better! Due to some changes at our shop, I've been working at the shop, and of course Brendon has been accompaning me. No worries, we got a play pin, and his excersaucer keeps him entertained as he watches his baby einstine. I know it doesn't compare to being at home, but for now we really don't have a choice.

The past few days have been pretty windy and I thought I had dressed him well according to the weather.....but I guess I was wrong....because my poor lil man has a runny nose and a mild cough. Thank God no fever, and he seems to be making the best out of it....but still, I can't believe I couldn't protect him from this damn cold! We had a real rough night last night.....so I let him sleep with mommy and daddy in our bed.

He still has an appetite (that's mah boy) and he still has his smile, so that kinda relieves me.....I just can't wait for him to get better! I did discover that he likes to taste his *mocos* with his tongue....but im pretty sure all baby's do =)

any mommys out there that have any advice anput helping my baby feel better while he has this cold?

Brendon 7 Months Old Today

I've been so busy that I just barely took Brendon's 7 month old picture.....And it's also the first picture for the month of September. He sure is getting bigger, and longer. He's starting to lose some weight or shall I say he's starting to thin out? Level out? Whatever the correct phrase is, I'm not sure if I should be worried....I hope I'm feeding him enough.

I'm kinda going through some issues that I'd rather not blog about, but through it all the only thing that keeps me strong and gives me encouragement is my Brendon. I look at him and see how much he loves me and can't even fathom my life without him. He is my rock right now and my strength.

So on a more happy and positive note: Let's see what has Brendon accomplished....He's still trying to say Umma (mommy in Korean), and he's now doing *do ree do ree* (shaking his head). He starting to whine a bit when he's being held by someone else and sees me walking by or something. I'm slowly starting to give him table food, just really tiny pieces of this and that. He loves to drink water, but he doesn't take the bottle so it's through a straw, although I'm trying to get him to drink out of his sippy cup.

I know I say this everymonth, but I still can't believe it's been 7 months already. I'm so not liking how fast time is going! He's really tall....At his 6 months well check he was already 29 inches. Who knows how many inches he's grown since then. I can't wait what he has in store for us in his 7 month!!!

*What's Goin On*

What a busy week, and we didn't even do anything special. Stayed at home most of the time, but even that takes up alot of energy! Let's see, what's been goin on. Brendon's trying to sit up by himself....although he doesn't look too comfortable when he does it....so I've decided not to push him, I'm sure he'll do it all on his own when he's ready. Woo Woo.....he said Umma (mommy in korean) the other day.....at least that's what I would like to believe, and I have a witness......his daddy was in the room when Brendon said it....but then again would that be conflict of interest? At any rate, my lil Brendon said it!!! I'm trying to capture on video, but ya'll know how that works.

Brendon and I met some new friends! I joined this website called meetup.com and found a new mom who happens to be korean too. She's awsome! Brendon and I went to her house to meet her and baby Wujin! Who just also happens to be the cutest ever! I forgot to take my camera, and Yoosung Unnie and I were so busy chit chatting and getting to know each other we forgot about her camera. We're planning on seeing more of each other pretty often so pics are to come!

I'm just soooo happy to meet a fellow new mommy! It was such a breath of fresh air, to talk about things that our babies do, and just thoughts on motherhood! What makes it even better is that Yoo Sung Unnie is the nicest ever! It was like we had known each other for awhile!

*These Past Few Days*

What a couple of days we had at the Lee household!

Let see.......on Saturday, Grandma (from Vegas) went on on mission trip with a group from her church and was at LAX on a 5 hour layover.....so we pretty much spent saturday at the airport with Grandma. The group she was with was in love with Brendon, I mean in love!!!!! Brendon was enjoying every moment of it! That little stud!

Sunday, we went to Sizzlers for brunch.....and let me tell you it was yummy for my tummy! The sizzler in Torrance is really nice, and sunday brunch comes with a full on omlette and waffle bar. Then we headed out to the shop....Daddy has been working on sundays too, so we decided to keep him company. Brendon has his excersaucer at the shop so I can kinda take a breather when he's playing in it. After work, Daddy's friends came by and we went to eat pho (vietnemese noodles), and headed off to Manhattan Beach to play some tennis. It was really nice cause they were throwing a free concert for some aspiring singer and the park was filled with people and their kids or bottle of wine. Luckily I brought a blanket, so Brendon and I joined in on the fun, and layed on our blanket under a nice tree enjoying the free music! I love the southbay!

Monday we picked grandma up from the airport early morning. We then headed out to K-town for some lunch and shopping. We went to Chung's super center....i love that store being the OCD homemaker that i am! Doesnt sound like much, but with the baby and all, it was pretty chaotic. I was pretty tired so we came home. I cooked dinner for the hubby, and he headed out to the park to play tennis while mom and I went t meet a friend of hers. And yet again, another person fell head over heals for Brendon. Now I see what people mean when they tell me how good of a baby he is! I just wish he was that good when he and I are alone!

Tuesday, we headed out to the OC to visit another friend of my moms.....visit was short, but there too were dying to see the baby, oh yeah and my mom =) Once we got back home we went to souplantation for some lunch....I <3 souplantation. Then off to Babies R Us......I <3 Babies R Us even more! Brendon got spoiled again......Grandma ended uu buying Brendon a joggin stoller......teehee, I guess the stoller's more for me though! I NEED to get rid of this baby wieght that I have yet to loose!!!! At any rate it was fun! After dinner that night we took the stoller out for a test drive to the park.....yet again! Yes, my hubby is addicted to his new found joy of tennis.....works out for me, cause i can take that time to go walking. It's a really nice park!

And then Wednesday came and we had to say goodbye to Grams. It was and is always sooooo nice to have her here because I get some help with the baby.....but I am good to be back in my routine with the Lee household!

Just wanted to post this picture of Brendon real quick. His Daddy got this outfit for him, and coincidentally Brendon was holding his toy basketball. Looks like we got a baller folks!!! Could we possibly be raising the next Yao Ming?

*No More Tears*

So, today Brendon went in for his 6 month shots. He wasn't so brave this time around. It was so sad. Brendon is always in a good mood when he wakes up in the morning. Jhonnie and I usually bring him to our bed and we just lounge around for about 15 mins, before Jhonnie has to get ready for work. Even when we got to the doctor's office, Brendon was still smiles and laughs. The doctor examined him, and he apparently lost 4 ounces of weight, so I'm having to feed him a bit more. He did grow a bit though....he's now 28 inches long, and is the top of the percentile! He's healthy!!!!

As the doctor checked his vitals, Brendon had a ball playing with the stethescope that was around her neck......then.......the shots came. I think he was REALLY caught off guard, cause he cried loud through all four shots! He was NOT a happy camper....but that's ok, cause the second I put him in my arms, he stopped....and better yet, no more tears/shots until he's 12 months!!!!

My poor baby must have been tired from all that crying (since he's never cried like that before), he's pretty much out for the night! I'm hoping that I can take advantage and get some *ME* stuff done!

Brendon 6 Months

My Brendon turned 6 months today! 6 Months! I can't believe how fast time has gone by. That means we only have 6 more months left before his *DOL* (1st birthday). He's doing so much.....trying to talk, cries when mommy leaves his side, loves watching baby prodigy and baby einstien, eating gerber's baby food, rolling all over the house, grabbing things with his hands, and putting then in his mouth, totally in love with his daddy......but my favortie is his smile! He has the most genuine smile in this whole universe! Just melts my heart, and he smiles ALL the time (I just cant seem to get him to do it when the camera is out). I don't know what I ever did without him, and even more, I can't imagine my life without him. Things do get a bit exhausting, and sometimes frustrating....but i would change it for the world!

*Lil Bit Of This, Lil Bit Of That*

Not much went on today......just trying to listen to doctor's orders and take it easy. Yeah right, like that will ever happen. Not only do I have a bad case of OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), but I have a 5 month old who weighs 20 pounds. My incision was healing up when I felt a tear again while playing with Brendon. It doesnt hurt this time though....I think if I take it easy again, it'll heal.......jeez!

Oh yeah, and we have teeth now! That's right, Brendon's two front bottom teeth are incomming! That's why he's been so fussy and irritable these days! Tonight he finally went back to his routine and bed time. He's also rolling around the whole house! It's so funny....but it's also causing me to go into over drive with my OCD.....I'm vaccumiing like crazy and wiping down the floors like a mad man! I just want everything to be clean......you just never know! Also, Brendon has discovered his feet, and seems to acquire a taste for them! He cannot stop putting his feet in his mouth. He just loves sucking on his big toe.......my lil man is just the funniest ever! I'm trying to get a snap of him doing it, but as usual he sees the camera and stops whatever he is doing.

*I'm Back*

Ok so here's a follow up of what's been going on:

Let's see, friday night I was still in pain from the tear of my incision, and when I took a look at it, I noticed some blood.......That's when I decided to take myself to the ER. On my way there, my friend Lisa called and when I told her what was going on, she told me she'd meet me at the hospital. I have the best friends, I swear. After waiting around for about 4 hours, the doctor tells me that it looks like an abses, and he squeezed the hell out of it. The pain I tell you!!!! He told me to take it easy, and that I should be taking it easy for at least a year.

Saturday, had some drama at our shop that caused my hubby to go after some guy with a golf club. There's this loose that hangs by our shop all the time who calls himself Mike Jones. I think he deals or something, cause cars are always making stops and there's some kind of exchange that goes on...at any rate. That day I was in the office doing some paper work, when *mike jones* says," hey lady, your husband aint looking so why dont I come over there and get my a lil sum sum." sick! Well, Jhonnie heard and decided to pick up a golf club and go after this guy....nothing happened thank god! *mike jones* just kept saying he didn't mean anything by it. And that's the last we've seen of him......it's kinda nice that he's not hanging around the shop!

Sunday, Jhonnie and I went flea market hopping! I know! It's been sooooo hot, but Jhonnie loves them flea markets.....I still can't figure out why. We went to the one in Gardea, and then headed over to the bigger one in Torrance. There was some rain...but what really got us annoyed was the humidity and how you can smell everyone's odor! We called it a day, and headed home where it was cool and relaxing.

And that was our weekend.

*A Serious Moment*

I was watching the Christian channel tonight (yes, I watch the Christian channel), and one of my favorite Christian singers, Natalie Grant was giving a testimony about a couple she knew. That couple had been trying for years to have children when the doctor finally told them that the wife could not carry a child. They were good, faithful Christians, and took what the doctor told them as God's will. After a few months later the wife found that she was pregnant, they gave birth to a healthy baby boy. They were so grateful and knew that this child was a gift from God, and literally a miracle. They would tell other couples having difficulty conceiving their story and give encouragement. When that baby was two months, the new mother went to check on her baby who was napping in his crib. She found her new baby boy, her miracle lying breathless in his crib. The baby had died of SIDS.

I just could not stop crying....I HAD to go and hold my baby after hearing that testimony. Brendon is our miracle, and God's gift to us. I just can't imagine what that couple went or is going through. Even more so, I am soooooooooooooooooo grateful for my child. There are times when I am just soooo tired and worn out, that I forget that our Brendon is a blessing.

*Open Wound*

Ok, so I'm in lots of pain right now. I can barely pick up the baby, let alone sit up on my own. When I had Brendon, I had a c-section.....and the other night I was wiping down the floors (korean style...on all fours), and I somehow tore my incision. I know it's been 5 months already, so how in the hell can it even tear?

I'm not going to the hospital just yet.....kinda taking care of it with home remedies....if im still in this excruciating pain...then I'll take myself to the ER as a last resort. I'm still trying to figure out how the incision even tore....at any rate, I may just be MIa for a little bit....at least til I can sit without being in any pain!

*Just A Re-Cap*

I was meaning to post sooner, but I was waiting for my friend Julie to email me some pictures that were taken over the weekend. Anyhow, here's what my weekend was like:

Saturday, Brendon and I headed over to my hold hometown (in socal) Rowland Hts/Diamond Bar, and met up with my friends Julie and Vivian (and Viv's son Noah). We pigged out on Dim Sum at Samwoo's (gawd, I love that place), and just chit chatted and ate.....and ate....oh yeah, and ate! It was sooooo good! We then headed over to starbucks for some coffee (i had their new tangerine and pomegranite frapp...num num), and chit chatted some more....there was so much to catch up on! After that we then headed over to Julie's place in Diamond Bar, were we looked at old pictures of us, even new ones, each with a story to tell! Gawd, how we've grown. Before we knew it, it was time for me to head back home. It was good times, back then and even now!

Sunday, was just a relaxing day. Went to church, and came home where it was nice and cool thanks to the airconditioner! What is up with this heat? I think I can deal with the heat if it weren't so humid! I hate the stickiness! Jhonnie's been opening the shop on Sunday's too, so we haven't had much family time.....makes me a lil sad.....but hopefully if we get rich one of these days for all the hard work we've been doing, it'll all be worth it.

And today.....I went to see Grace and little Mia. OK, Mia has Eyelashes to die for! And they even curl.....she's a cutie who will turn into a beauty! Had a good time...sorry no pics to post though!

*A Whole 7 Inches*

I've been fighting myself about chopping off my locks! I've had fairly short hair all throughout my highschool and college/gradschool days....so I was liking my long hair do. Now that I'm a mom, and I'm running around doing minor things for our shop, I just don't have time to play with my hair. I never do it, and it's always up in a pin anyhow. Aside from the heat, my hair just felt limp and heavy.

So today, I walked into the salon and told the lady," I dont know what kind of do I want, but I need to go a bit shorter". She then said, "trust me". Who knew she was going to chop off 7 inches, that's right 7 inches. I can't even twirl it up into a bun anymore. I like the fact that it feels much lighter...but it's not much cooler, im still hot! I haven't played around with it much, I'll probably .....er....hopefully get around to doing that later tonight.

So I officially feel like an ahjuma, and an *ae umma* My locks kinda made me feel like I was still young and sassy.....but i don't know, ppl are saying my hair looks alot better. I'll have to post a picture after I play around with it. Here's a picture to give you an idea of how short.

Oh, yeah.....and i did do a good thing. I donated my hair to an organization called Pantene Beautiful Lengths. I was kinda shocked that a korean salon was involved in things like that...but it made me feel really good.

*Midnight Rambling*

I just finished up cleaning, cutting my nails, doing the laundry, checking my email and myspace, watched an episode of one of the many Korean dramas I'm currently watching (you see, I can only have *me* time when Brendon has gone to bed). As I washed up for bed, I checked in on Brendon and found him lying next to daddy in our bed fast asleep. I wanted to move him to his crib, but couldn't resist getting into bed and lying beside him. I don't know if it's my scent or something, but Brendon opened his eyes, and smiled at me. How he melts my heart is just indescribable. I breastfed him as I caressed his head, and just took a moment to smell him. I can't believe this perfect little angel is mine! I just hope he's happy with us.....And I hope I'm not forgetting anything or missing something when it comes to being his mommy. Every month, no wait, actually it's more like everyday I get to know my Brendon a little more with each and every new *thing* he learns, says, or does. I'm starting to see how patient my little Brendon actually is. With all the running around I do, he doesn't ever cry as he sits in the his car seat, and he doesn't seem to mind that sometimes I have to pull into a parking lot of some shopping center and breastfeed (thank God for tinted windows). It's amazing. I wonder what God has planned for him, and what he kind of a young man he will become. I am in no hurry though =)

*5 Months Old Today*

Today our Brendon turned 5 months. Time just keeps going and going by, and Brendon keeps growing. I now know the meaning of the saying "Time In A Bottle" How can I put time in a bottle? I just want to freeze time. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to my baby growing up, does it just have to happen so fast? I wouldn't mind if we could stay in the present for a lil bit longer =)

Brendon now knows his name, and makes cooing noises when you talk to him.....as if he's trying to converse. He has no problems holding his head up on his own. He loves to reach and grab for his toys, daddy's glasses, simba's wiskers, and mommy's lips. He's such a joy and truely is my sunshine! He's rolls and flips over the second we put him down, and I have a feeling he's going to learn how to walk before he even begins to crawl...oh, and he's soooo very strong!

Friends, and family are saying that Brendon is starting to look more like mommy now...which makes me sooooo giddy! Regardless of who Brendon looks like, I'm just grateful that he is such a healthy baby......I thank God everyday for that!

*Girls Just Wanna Have Fun*

My friend Michelle invited me over to her house for some chow and some chit-chat! I had the best time ever! It's so uncanny how we lost touch durring college, but picked up as if there was no lost time! I even got to see Elice. I haven't seen Elice since she was like in junior high, and what a beautiful young lady she has become!


Michelle had ordered some dimsum, and we stayed at her place...which was really nice. Not only did I enjoy the food, but her place is just gorgeous....and with the baby it was soooo much more comfortable. I've been craving dimsum for the longest time....and it was soooo good!

Just like old times we had our girl talk, and laughed about how innocent and naive we were. Talked about all the people in high school we couldn't stand. I still can't believe it's been like 12 years. We're married now with kids or at least trying to have kids, and what makes it so nice is that we're both very happy with what we've made out of our lives! I'm just thrilled that she lives so close....we've decided to make Thursday's a routine thing now!

*Brendon's 1st 4th of July*

We had a really nice 4th of July. Monday night, Grandma from Vegas decides to come and visit, and Brendon stayed up really late just playing with Grandma. We all got up early on tuesday and decided to head over to the beach.....and of course what beach did we go to? The beach of Koreans that is....Redondo Beach. It was nice though. There was a really nice breeze, and of course TONS of people....literally! We actually ran into one of Jhonnie's good friends and his wife. We decided to eat at the Korean restaurant there. We tore up some crab, and finished off with *het mool tang*...but of course!!!

After our meal we walked around a bit while eating ice cream......but it started getting really crowded so we headed back. On our way home we noticed that alot of stores were still opened and had sale signs, so we made a few stops......only cause grandma insisted =)

Our first stop was none other than Babies R Us (I *heart* that store). Grandma started shopping for Brendon the minute we walked in there. She bought a baby food processor (so I can make Brendon organic baby food), and some outfits......gotta love them major sales!

Second stop was K-mart.....not much went on there, so we headed on over to Walmart. It was at walmart where we saw the 4 in 1 crib. Brendon has a crib, but it's a handme down, and pretty beaten up.....we just never got around to getting him a new one. That is until Grandma bought him one! It's soooooo cool, and Brendon loves it! It may not be fancy smancy or the most expensive one out there, but it's so useful and will continue to be (if we can keep it in good condition)...I'm already loving the fact that I now have a changing table and drawers for his stuff =) Here's the link for pictures: click me

I didn't get around to taking many pictures, I do however have a video clip of Brendon and daddy goofing around as we were relaxing from a long day. Brendon just thinks Daddy is the funniest person in the world......little does he know that he alone makes daddy the silliest person in the world!

*Saturday Night*

I couldn't make it out to LE's birthday bash last weekend, so a few of us got together tonight to grill some burgers, and hotdogs as a post B-day gathering. Lisa brought over a yummy ice cream cake....but best of all it was the company. It seemed like ages since the 3 of us got together! I just hope we can continue to have these get togethers, no matter how busy our lives get!
