*Long Weekend*

TGIF! Not much planned, I think we're just going to play it by ear. Hana and Lisa are comming by tomorrow for some good ol' American style bar-b-q. I couldn't make it to Hana's 30th birthday bash, so hopefully this will make up for it!

My husband is working on monday, so a couple of my gf's suggested dimsum....how can I turn down dimsum!!!! Especially from Sam Woo's...my mouth is watering already!

I am, however excited that we get to spend time on tuesday with Jhonnie! Like I said, nothing really planned, but it doesnt even matter! Just spending time together is all I need!!!

*Months End, Already?*

I realized that June has come to an end, and I haven't taken that many pictures of Brendon. This sure was a month of many firsts! First haircut, first car trip to Fresno, first taste of baby food, turning over...and so much more! I'm still amazed that I have him in my life and that he is my own! He truely is my sunshine! Since I realized that it's the end of June and we didn't have much pictures of Brendon, I whipped out the camera and took a few pics. And of course he stops smiling as I'm taking the pics.

Today we took Brendon and headed out to Chinatown. I've been wanting to check out the chinatown out here, I didn't realize how small it was compared to San Fran's chinatown, or is it that SF Chinatown is just really big....at any rate, we had fun!

We bought some nik naks, and some clothes for Brendon to wear at home in this heat! I couldn't believe how hot it was today, and the humidity! We still had fun though. I forgot to take our camera, but I did take a few pics when we got home.

We bought Brendon a little china boy outfit...it was sooo cute and sooo cheap, only $8. There was this lady who owned one of the boutiques, who kept holding up these little buda's next to Brendon and saying,"look like your baby". We gave in and bought a couple.

Brendon must have been worn out from today's outing, he's already asleep! Now that I've mentioned it, I too am a bit tired!

Brave and Healthy

Today Brendon had his 4 month check up. He is 19 pounds and 26 inches long! His pediatrician says he's about the weight and height of a 6 month old! We have started him on baby food.....I'm staying away from the sweets right now such as applesause and peaches. I want him to start on veggies, and so far so good! He's digging the carrotts and peas, that's my boy!!! =)

So he had 4 shots today....and he didnt even make a peep til the 4th one......he started to make the crying face, but when he saw me he just giggled. My Brendon is sooooo brave, I'm so proud of him!

He's starting to get a bit fussy these days, and when I asked the doctor, she said they usually do at the 4 month mark.....and that they'll continue to. It's just their way of communicating.....me being a first mom, every little new thing he does alarms me...but doc gave us a clean bill of health, and I am truely grateful and blessed to have such a healthy beautiful brave son!

Yesterday LE and her mother came by to see lil Brendon. It was so nice to hang out with them in the middle of the week. We usually don't get to see LE eemo (aunt LE) durring the week, but not only did we get to see her, but her mother as well! AND......as usual they came bearing gifts! They picked up some munchies and a korean cake....we just chit-chatted and starred at Brendon the whole time. It was nice....and made me miss my mom soooooo much. My mom has been comming out to see us every month, but it's just not the same as having her around ALL the time. Anyhow....LE's mom has been there for me from the moment we moved to LA. I think most of Brendon's clothes are from her......but she finally got to see him LIVE yesterday....and I can soooo tell that her grandmother clock is ticking {nudging LE}. *4 Months Old*

Brendon is 4 months old today......4 MONTHS!!! Let's see what have we accomplished since we've been born: We know who mommy and daddy are, we can grab things with our hands, we can ramble on and on about things, we can hold our head up without any support, we can blow rasberries, suck our thumb, we can smile (ALL THE TIME), we've had our first taste of barley tea, and prune juice, and we've had our first hair cut. There's much more....but these were at the top of my head! I can't believe how fast they grow!!!!! We're so proud of you Brendon!!!!

I just realized that the previous video clip was really dark, so here's another clip of our lil man. I know as parents we got a bit carried away and went way ahead of ourselves. Brendon hasn't even begun to crawl, but we couldn't help but notice how he was trying to push himself with his legs when he was in his walker. Daddy thought he's help Brendon out =)

Fobbed Out Parents

My friends all say that I'm a bit on the fobbie side...and that's ok =) But seeing this clip made me realize that our lil Brendon has some REALLY fobbed out parents.....I just hope we don't ever embarass him! In this clip I'm trying to help Brendon with the "sa rang hae yo" gesture.....but his arms are still a bit too short. No worries, we've got plenty of time for practice =)

*~Brendon's 1st Haircut~*

We did it! I took Brendon for his 1st haircut yesterday! He did soooo well! He sat on my lap, and let the stylist do her thing! She even put those capes on him so we wouldn't get any hair on him, but I can slap myself for not saving any of his shaved hair! I asked her to save some, but forgot to ask for it on our way out. Anyhow, his first haircut couldn't have been at a more better time. This heat in socal is unbelieveable, at least Brendon's staying cool with his new do =)

*~Mommy's Eyes or Daddy's Eyes?~*

So far people have been saying that Brendon has his daddy's eyes. Me being half korean and half German....I was blessed with very big eyes with "ssang ka peul" (double eyelids). Jhonnie too has pretty big eyes, but he's got the "sok ssang ka peul" (inner double eyelids). Anyhow, I don't know why asians are so obsessed with the double eyelid thing.....I was just wanting to share what I discovered today!!!! Brendon just may have his mommy's eyes! He was in his walker today when I saw that his left eye had "ssang ka peul" like the kind that I have!!! Whether he has "ssang ka peul" or not...I don't care, I'm just stoked that he may just have his mommy's eyes!!!!

And this is a picture of Brendon in the morning with a comb-over. His hair hasn't all grown in yet, and we're contemplating on whether or not we should do the traditional thing and shave his head. I just can't get myself to do it though....anyone know if I need to take him to the salon and get it done? Comb-over or no comb-over, he's still the cutest in my eyes!!!

*~Had Some Time To Blog~*

Brendon's comming to the end of his 3rd month, and I can't believe how much he can do for himself.....well from when we first brought him home that is. He can now hold his head up all by himself, trying to stand (while being supported of course), sucking his thumb, cooing, and my most favorite......smilling! He's got a killer smile!

I've been blog hopping through links on my friend Christine's blog (who by the way is excpecting a lil girl in Sep).....and I can't wait for all the things that we're going to experience with Brendon! I have a feeling he's starting to teeth already. He's got some of the signs......he's drooling, and he's been a bit fussy the past few days. I don't think he has an ear infection because there's no fever, and he's not tugging at his ear. Oh yeah, and at night when it's bedtime, he's been chewing his thumb instead of sucking on it. So far, he doesn't seem to be in pain or anything....but the second I feel that he is.....I'm calling the doctor.

Anyone have any suggestions on teething?

*~I'm Biast~*

I just can't help but think that Brendon is the cutest baby ever....but then again I am his mommy, so that would make me a bit biast, huh?
Anyhow, we just got him a winnie-the-pooh walker. He absolutely loves it!!!! His feet don't even touch the ground yet, but he loves sitting in it and playing with the do-dats.....
I'm being told that it's only a bit away before he starts dragging that thing all over the house! My little baby is growing so fast. I know I keep saying that, but seriously.....where did the time go? He's still the perfect angel, however I do have to admit, he's been a bit fussy these past few days. He's been drooling quite a bit, so I'm thinking he could be teething. I hear that's another great experience......I just don't want my little baby to be in any pain.....look how cute he is when he's smiling and so happy! That picture isn't the best of smiles, but still!
So this is the last picture for the month of May.....I wonder what changes are in store for us in the month of June!!!!

Just wanted to share some photos of our Brendon. He's 3 1/2 months already, I can't believe it. I can't believe how time just flies by.......I wish I could slow down the hand of time. I just want to savor every moment I can! But most important, I'm just grateful that he's healthy!!!

*~My First Post~*

Initially, I was planning on starting my first post on June 1st....but I figured, I'd better start writting while I can.......being a new mom to a newborn leaves me with not much time for myself, let alone planning. I forget how things are now on baby's schedule.

I, like LE......could not get myself to hit the delete button on my other blog....so I'm leaving it as is. I just wanted to start a new one for privacy, and well, since I'm on this new journey with so many new things in my life, I just thought it would make sense to open a new chapter. I'm pretty sure this blog will be consist of family adventures, and TONS of baby photos as my little prince grows....

Those who have tuned in know that we finally made the move to LA (Gardena to be exact)....Our shop is doing alright, could do better, but I think everyone's taking a hit with the rising gas prices. As long as our bills get paid, I'm not complainning......plus Jhonnie seems to have a bigger plan down the road. And let's see......ah yes and the biggest change we've had is Brendon! We had our baby boy on 2-8-06. It's a new journey eveyday, every second spent with him! He's amazing....oh Jhonnie too =)

*~It's still me!~*

I too have been contemplating on whether or not I should start a new blog. The old one will still be there, but I will not be posting on it anymore.....Can you blame me? I'm on a new journey now. I mean we've moved to LA, started a new business, had a baby....and I will go on, you'll just have to stay tuned =)
